HANG TUAH UNIVERSITY OF PHARMACEUTICAL STUDY PROGRAM VISION-MISSION DEVELOPMENT WEBINAR In preparation for the establishment of the Pharmacist Profession Study Program (PSPA), the Pharmacy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya, held a Vision-Mission Preparation Webinar which was held on Saturday, December 19, 2020. This Webinar activity was held as a form of Hang Tuah University’s commitment in supporting the establishment of the Pharmacist Professional Study Program (PSPA) after the B accreditation for the Pharmacy Study Program was issued some time ago. Through this webinar, each party representing their expertise is asked to review and provide a proposal for the Vision-Mission of the PSPA Pharmacist Profession Study Program to match learning outcomes and produce outputs according to the needs of each job field. The preparation of vision, mission, goals, and achievement strategies needs to be done by involving internal and external components. As an internal component of the preparation of vision, mission, goals and achievement strategies, it is necessary to involve lecturers, education staff and students. Meanwhile, the external components that need to be involved are graduates, graduate users, partners, experts, professional organizations, and the government. External parties invited IAI (Indonesian Pharmacists Association), Health Service (Dinkes), BPOM, Indonesian Hospital Pharmacy Seminat Association (Hisfarsi), Industrial Pharmacy Seminat Association (Hisfarin), pharmacies, and other institutions representing stakeholders in the workplace. students and alumni. The Vision-Mission Preparation Webinar was opened by the Chancellor of the Hang Tuah University Surabaya, LaksdaTNI (Ret.) Prof. Dr. Ir. Supartono, MM., CIQaR. In his speech, the Chancellor welcomed the plan to open the PSPA study program and he emphasized the need to include soft skills related to discipline, professionalism and moral-ethics that must be applied to ensure graduates can work as well as possible. In the Vision-Mission Webinar activity, the stakeholders provided many constructive inputs/suggestions/recommendations for the future progress of the Pharmacist Profession Study Program (PSPA) of the Hang Tuah University Faculty of Medicine. On this occasion, the Chairman of PD IAI East Java, Dr. Abdul Rahem, M.Kes., Apt. provide advice related to the characteristics / characteristics that must be highlighted from the PSPA Vision-Mission. Stakeholder representative from Hisparin, Drs. Adi Suroso, Apt conveyed the need to improve Managerial skills. In line with that, input from Marine Lt. Col. (K) Drs. Lestiono, Apt., SpFRS. representing Rumkital Dr. Ramelan sees the Vision-Mission output from the clinical aspect (pharmacotherapy knowledge from a pharmacist to research an EBM) because pharmacists in hospitals are required to be able to cooperate and communicate well with other health teams such as doctors, nurses, and other health workers.
