Traditional health services are one of the various activities in health efforts based on Law no. 36 of 2009 concerning Health. The Ministry of Health has established a formulary for traditional Indonesian medicinal herbs (FROTI) through the Decree of the Minister of Health Number HK.01.07/Menkes/187/2017, the preparation of which is based on health problems that are commonly found in the community. The use of ingredients in FROTI is directed to maintain health and help reduce complaints suffered.
The use of traditional medicinal herbs for health maintenance, disease prevention, and health care, including during the Public Health Emergency and/or Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) National Disaster, and increasing support and cooperation across sectors and local governments, particularly in providing information Therefore, it is very important to increase the knowledge and ability of the community regarding traditional uses as an effort to maintain health, prevent disease, and take care of health by paying attention to the right way regarding the selection of plant species, processing plants, equipment used and other treatments to ensure that the plants used can provide the desired benefits.,In order to provide knowledge to the community regarding the types of TOGA that are widely available in Indonesia m and its benefits to increase endurance in the midst of this pandemic and provide knowledge to the public regarding how to process TOGA so that it can be consumed properly to increase endurance in the midst of this pandemic. The Pharmacy Study Program, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya held outreach activities to the public regarding the types and processing of TOGA that can increase the body’s immunity. This activity was carried out in Wonorejo Village, Rungkut District, Surabaya City with a total of 45 participants on Friday and Saturday, April 9 and 10, 2021. This activity was carried out offline and online by implementing strict health protocols.
