Saturday, March 13, 2021, a Curriculum Workshop was held which was also a continuation of a series of workshops in the context of establishing the Hang Tuah University Pharmacist Profession Surabaya.
The curriculum of the Study Program in Higher Education is expected to be able to answer regional and international challenges so that the graduates produced have sufficient competence to compete in the future. As it is known that currently there are 295 Pharmacy S1 Study Programs, while pharmacists only number 52. From this number, it can be seen that there is an imbalance between the number of S1 Study Programs and Pharmacists. This can cause many Bachelor of Pharmacy graduates who cannot directly continue to the Pharmacist Profession Study Program, in this case including graduates from the Bachelor of Pharmacy Study Program, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya. Considering this, Hang Tuah University plans to establish a Pharmacist Profession Study Program.
This workshop was attended by the Head of Central IAI Drs. Nurul Falah Eddy Pariang, apt. and Chairman of APTFI Prof. Dr. Daryono Hadi Tjahjono, M.Sc., apt. along with all PBF invitees and resource persons from Industry, Hospitals, Health Offices, Public Health Centers and academics.
